Roach poison behind fridge/motor area safe?

Ok so I know I'm going to sound like an idot for asking this (probably because I am) but I legit don't know how fridges work. Here's the thing, my sister sprayed roach poison behind the fridge and in the area where the motor is and after word we got paranoid l. My question is this, do fridges suck air into the fridge and cools it down, cause now I'm wondering if the poison got inside the fridge by air ducts, if it so happens that refrigerators operate by sucking air in? Again I don't know I guess I'm just paranoid

doesn't work like that.

There is a relationship between temperature and pressure, high pressure is high temperature, low pressure is low temperature.

Your fridge has a pipe connected to a compressor and an expansion valve to create a fluid system with 2 sides, a hot side and a cold side.

By pumping the liquid in the pipe out of the cold side and into the hot side the pressure and therefore the temperature drops.

Pressure also affects the temperature at which liquids boil, the higher the pressure, the higher the boiling point temperature. This is why it can be potentially very dangerous to remove the cap from the cooling system on your car while it is hot (it can be done, but should be done very slowly and carefully with great respect given to the danger) because the cooling system is under pressure so the water inside it could be for example at 120 degrees C (boiling point of water in normal atmospheric pressure is 100 degreees C) so having taken the top off the cooling system it is no longer pressurised but it is still at 120C so what happens is it turns to steam (instantly) and expands outwards through the hole you just gave it which can result in serious burns.

Clean out whole fridge. Throw everything away cause the fumes from spray can is going to eat thriugh everything and kilt you both 🙄. Your choice 🤷🏻‍♂️

No they only blow air over the refrigerant coil or tubing which is usually at the bottom of the fridge and blows out the front if they have an external fan snd some have an internal fan that just circulates the inside cool air

The cooling circuit is closed in itself. Where poison COULD reach the interiour is when it evaporates and enters through the door when opened.

But I'd be surprised if the stuff is harmful. A look at the poison's labelling could tell you.
