If you are going to take both, I would think you would try to use each to provide the nutrients missing or low-content in the other. I would suggest you have a visit to your medical doctor. He/she may send you to an endocrinologist and/or dietician.

Example (using foods). Latin cuisine (amongst others) makes extensive use of rice and beans, and corn and beans. The grains provide certain essential aminos and the beans provide others. Combine them at the same meal, and you get complete protein. And ALL essential aminos must be present simultaneously for the body to be able to make proteins.

They're industrial waste. Kind of. Whey is byproduct of making cheese, and is kind of void of nutrients. I drink like 6L of raw fermented milk daily, + other high quality sources of protein which is more than enough protein, and supplies even what most multivitamins lack.

You could choose stuff like creatine and magnesium, as long as it's good quality (no toxic solvent residue, etc.) but the prices aren't worth it unless you buy in bulk quantity from manufacturers. like creatine used to be less than 10$ per kg, now it's over 100$ the cheapest you'll find. And you have to eat a pound of raw meat, or more, to get 2 grams of creatine. Still meat has like a hundred different nutrients, it's idiotic to eat junkfood then supplement with hundreds of nutrients that you lack.

why u need shakes AND pills, eat some more eggs or drink some more milk. don't rely too much on poor sources of protein.


It should be fine, it'll just be unhealthy.
