Absolutely NOT! If a friend is trying to loose weight, but they just aren’t… THEY KNOW! They’re the one who stepped on that scale every day/week/month, trust me, there is NOTHING I can say to them about their own weight that they don’t already know!
Me telling them “so… looks like that diet isn’t working, eh?” Is only going to make my FRIEND feel bad about herself! She already knows that the diet has not worked, me pointing it out, is just rubbing salt & lemon juice into the wound! It serves no practical purpose, and hurts my friend. So why say a frikkin’ word? It’s just cruel.
Leave well enough alone. If they want to lose weight bad enough, they would ask for my help-
As someone that used to be overweight, I only lost weight when I was ready to- not when my friends, family, or anyone else offered to help or asked about my progress. If I see someone isn't progressing, I might ask them, "How's the weight loss going?" Just to gauge a reaction. If they give me a weak excuse, or seem indifferent? I drop the subject. Because pushing the subject or making them feel bad won't help anyone.

Depends on how close I am to this person. If they're an acquaintance or someone I'm getting to know then I certainly wouldn't say anything about it. If it was someone I was closer to, and especially if their weight was negatively impacting their health, then I would bring it up, and if they confess that they've been struggling with it I would do my best to help them! If that's what they wanted of course. 😂
*pokes your belly* ;)
My husband has a beer belly like that! He's not flabby like that guy and no man boobs, but he's got a gut like that! LOL He tells me he's gonna go on a diet and exercise, etc.. Yea, ok, but u think the beer is helping u? I don't say anything, I just agree w/him
I wouldn't bring it up. I know it's hard to lose weight. If they said they were going to lose weight, I wouldn't take it too seriously in the first place. I know it's more likely to fail than succeed.
It's something they have to do on their own. Probably the only thing I'd do to help them is not temp them with unhealthy food.
I strongly believe that sometimes, fat shaing is a really good and strong motivator for many people. Many people take it negatively, but even more people seriously get disturbed by it, leading to action, even if under extreme pressure.
But at the same time, you should be good to them too. Achievement appreciation is a must.
I wouldn’t bring it up. We all make commitments or try to reach a goal that sometimes isn’t reachable. Some people lack the motivation to reach certain goals. I’m one of those people lol. Sometimes I set my mind to something but lose the motivation along the way and give up, and I hate it when people bring it up.
I've struggled with my weight for a good portion of my life. It's only been earlier this year that I was actually able to take control of the situation, so I would very empathetic to their situation and ask if they wanted to know how I did it.
I wouldn't talk about it for the most part life's hard plus I'm not exactly the skinniest man myself (though I have been working out more), one of my managers quits smoking about once a year and after 3 months he's back at it but I don't talk to him about it unless we are roasting each other
I wouldn't bring it up. Weight loss is a sensitive topic for some people and it's not up to me to tell how their body should look. Also, avoiding confrontations is always a good policy in my opinion.
I'd only ask them if it was brought up and there was a point where I thought bringing it up would be appropriate.
There's ways to go about things without being a dick or trying to make someone uncomfortable.
You don't know if they have a thyroid problem or if they really are trying to lose the weight but just can't get the results. Unless you're their workout buddy, I wouldn't mention anything
I wouldn't say anything but I'd just think it's funny. It's like the people that say they're gonna commit to something but never do 😂 like why even say anything
Nope. I've tried losing weight before and it doesn't always go as planned. If they want to talk about it, that's up to them, but I'm not initiating a conversation about their body.

I would not
I would help them when they said they want to lose weight.
Depends on how close we are. If that person is my best friend then I’ll probably ask them, sometimes they just need a little push
No that isn't any of my concern or personal business if I had a friend and he or she is serious about losing weight and asking for my help than I would gladly intervene otherwise no.
Depends on the over time, but mostly it takes time until the results are really visible
Its not that easy. Look how it is with drinking or smoking, the least few people get away from it with 1 therapy, many need 3 or more or even never get out
I'd ask him or her to come over and work out with me in my gym. Encouragement.
No I would not ask them. That’s rude.
Lol no I would not ask them.
I wouldn’t bring it up
I won't ask about it.. because it is rude.
I wouldn't bring it up.
