Hydration helps everything in your body run smoother. That applies to both exercise and digestion and sleep and overall health. Hydration will help with all of that.


Also, if you’re holding water weight, if you’re regularly hydrating, your body will feel more comfortable letting go of water weight.


Additionally, if you have stress hormones like cortisol in your blood, hydrating will help with that as well. Stress will cause you to hold onto fat.

It doesn't really help you lose weight.

Losing weight is very simple. Reduce your caloric intake below 2,000 calories a day. You body will consume fat to make up for the lost calories. Working out has very little effect on weight lose.

Yes water does help you lose weight and it also keeps your skin clear and keep your body running smoothly. Not too much water though
