Blood work question

Low alkaline phosphate cause?

got some blood work done yesterday, came back low ap and high alubmin. What does that mean?

I'm not a doctor, but from what I've seen in other people it means that they were having trouble with their liver or they had a protein deficiency or celiac disease, something like they weren't getting all of the nutrients they needed. Either way it's not good, it might not be very bad but it's something.

It could be a nutritional imbalance, so you could go over your diet and make sure that you're getting everything you need and protein and iron and all the other essential vitamins. It could also be that you are becoming anemic, or early celiac disease so cutting out gluten might help. Anything worse than that I can't comment on, and it would be best to talk to a proper doctor about the results when you can

Ap is found in all body tissue, bones and your liver bring primary. Kids have high AP do you bone growth.

high alubmin - low usually means liver problems. Not sure what high means.
