Yeah, I'd say it's worth getting another blood test if you've been noticing more bruising lately. A couple things could be going on:
- Your test results from October were normal, but something could have changed in the last few months that's causing more bruising now. Bodies are always changing, ya know?
- Sometimes the little machines they use to test blood samples can miss things or give wonky results. A new test would rule out any testing errors from the first one.
- Describing it as "random bruising" sounds a bit strange. Bruises usually happen for a reason like bumping into something. If you're bruising easily without obvious causes, that could be a sign something's up with your blood or circulation.
I wouldn't stress too much, but getting a second test could give you peace of mind. Maybe call your doc and explain what's been happening with the bruising. They might want to re-check your blood count just to be safe. Better to find out if it is nothing than ignore it if something needs treatment, yeah? Keep me posted on what the doc says!
How were your iron levels when you got your blood test? If you’re bruising randomly or easily, you could be iron deficient, which is reasonably common. Simple iron supplements can pick those levels back up, or increasing the iron in your diet will help, like eating lots of leafy greens or red meat.
Im also kind of scared that it could be cancer
That seems really unlikely if you’re just bruising. But if you’re really worried, get another blood test.
