Are kidney stones or infections common for you girls? How do you treat that?

I used to get a couple of kidney stones back then bc I wasn’t drinking enough water and my diet was super high on protein. If that happens frequently to you, you might wanna get tested. I think getting infections from a UTI (which is pretty common for girls) and it sucks a lot but very treatable via antibiotics, but if it spreads to your kidney then it could lead to something more serious.

UTIs can be more common to women as they have a shorter urethra for bacteria to travel as opposed to men who have a longer one. Plus sexually if he’s not cleaning himself before sex you could get a UTI. Certain types of stone can be caused by the bacteria causing the infection as certain bacteria release an enzyme that can cause the stones. And because women are more prone to UTIs it can increase the chances of stones.

Kidney stones are treated by breaking them and having them pass through your system. Infections are treated with antibiotics.

They are 2 separate things and caused by different, preventable things. Read about that. Kidney infections are extremely serious, especially compared to ordinary UTIs.
