I'm 5'7, and I have probably been this height since I was 15.

I'm definitely used to it, and my son is exactly the same height as me. I never wanted to be taller in my entire life until I went on Gag and saw the trolls say that guys my height have no hope of having a girlfriend even though I was married forever.

For me it doesn't matter because I know that my height never stops me from doing anything, but I do worry about online trolling stripping kids of their confidence before they even get started in life.

The crap we read online doesn't even match the real world. I know that, but kids and teenagers don't. These days they get the idea as a teenager not to even try with girls because they're not 6 feet tall. It's sad and they miss out on all the fun I had at that age. I was girl crazy and loving life at their age.

Life these days is so much pressure for teens that it is sad.
They're likely watching porn, they're on social media, they're getting bullied, they're judged by their looks and bodies now more than ever. They're avoiding their parents and just living a virtual existence. The only news they get is from the internet. My son actually told me that covid was never real the other day.

I've had the exact same height since I was 12 so, unless some magic occurs before my 20s, I have to accept my height.

I don't hate it. But it is a little annoying because everything in this world is made for 6 feet and under. My legs are too long for stadium seats, mirrors in public restrooms are too low. And don't get me started on clothes. Even big and tall stores really don't work as they're made primarily for BIG not so much for tall.
