You are an adult. She cannot. But if you aren't paying for it, you might want to go. Your sessions will be confidential. Even if she is paying, the therapist cannot share anything you discuss with her. A great therapist helped me a lot later in life and I wish I had gone when i was your age. You might have to meet a few before you find one you want to work with.
