Hemp has a lot of fiber and will give you the shits... it sure as hell gave me the shits, I'm talking like brown water peeing out my butthole types of shits... I've heard of pea and would be willing to try that.
I would look into egg protein. That's what I used to take and it worked better than whey. I only stick to whey because it's a lot cheaper. Be careful to read the details on whatever you buy because a lot of them still shove dairy in there to up the protein level.
My wife does not like whey so she uses soy protein.
