In a case where this is actually a true situation, I'd say NO. You don't need to give her growth hormones. At 14, there is a chance for her to still hit puberty hardcore and have a growth spurt.

Some people really are just tiny too. Adults can easily be under 5'0. I know a few. A friend of my mom's is like 4'10. A co-worker has a friend who is like 4'8. It is very real and possible. How do you think dwarfism is a thing? How do midgets exist? They are real medical conditions that cause you to stop growing. If you have an actual medical condition as I previously mentioned, there are often other things involved aside from just being "small" or "short". But again - that is why there are medical professionals. They are the ones to seek help from with that.

Plenty of people with a form of dwarfism live normal lives and get along just fine. It depends on what kind they have and what if any other medical issues they may experience.

I myself am only 5'3 and I am perfectly healthy with a pretty normal life. I drive a car (that I bought and paid for and is solely in my name), I work a full time job. I do all the normal adult things everyone else taller than me does. My height does not stop me by any means. I take short jokes in stride and even make my own along the way.

In this case, I'd have my daughter evaluated by a medical professional. If she needed treatment, I'd have her receive it. If she was totally fine and healthy and just small, then so be it. I would just help her deal with as*hole kids who may try to bully her about her size and I'd help her learn to love herself as she is.

No. I had a friend at school who was 5' 6" aged 17 while I was 5' 11".

By 19 I was 6' and he was 6' 4". He topped out at 6' 5" age 21 and I'm still 6'.

Different people grow at different rates. How tall are you? How tall is her father? If you're both under 5' 6" she's unlikely to be taller than you. If you're both over 6' then ask a doctor not g@g about it!
