Cold sore itch URGENT HELP?

I’m going crazy. I’ve had a cold sore my 1st one ever for 2 days now. And it’s so unbearably itchy I’ve been using abriva or what ever you call it for the two days. But it’s is itchy I want to rip my lip off. I can barely sleep I’ll be woken up in the middle of the night bc of the itchy ness. I need some tips. I can’t be going like this. It’s almost like the abriva is making it itch more but soothes the pain of it. So I haven’t stopped using it. I can’t heel going like this for 1-2 weeks.😫

I heard of a cold sore being itchy are you sure that’s what it is and not herpes?

Nah, cold sores can stay itchy for as long as 4 days

Cold sores are caused from the herpes virus different strain the the one you get down there. But it’s all still herpes. And 90% of the population has the virus in them. But only 50% of that 90 will show symptoms such as a cold sore

I can’t get into the doctors till next week. And the closed other doctors office is 3 hours away. And im broke and can’t afford to drive there. 😫
