Why am I being called small if I weigh 140lbs and I’m 5”1?

Cause 5'1" is really small, and 140 pounds is a normal weight on a woman. If you were 170+ pounds, one might be able to see you as being "fat and short." But 140, even on a 5'1" girl, is fine. Although most girls at that height would be 110-115, it's no big deal.

Because your height is the first thing people seem to notice about you, not your weight. They're not short enough in order to see the extra pounds I guess
