Advantages of having a at home water birth?

I'm not pregnant but I am thinking about it. I never liked the idea of giving birth in hospitals or on a bed. Is a at home water bath a good idea?

Cheaper, some say healthier than a hospital too. Not sure it would be safer. Lots of things can go wrong during birth and after. If it’s worth it or not is up to the mother.

I'd advise against having kids since you mentioned you have hsv 1 and 2, otherwise your kids will be born with it and thats not fair to them.

I only have had hsv 1 in the past and not currently. I'm thinking of this way into the future anyways 😂

Your previous post said you had both, either way just 1 of them is enough regarding my point, and those infections are not something "in the past", they are retroviral infections that bind to your genes, altering your DNA forever, they cannot be gotten rid of once contracted, only the symptoms can be temporarily supressed on occasion. Herpes unravels DNA strands, causing the body to break down over time.

It would be best to stick to pets for children, preferably non mammalian ones like birds, lizards, snakes, etc. As there is a chance the virus can mutate and spread to a cat, dog, rodent, etc.
