If a woman had a multiple pregnancy the 1st time, should she get lubal ligation or hysterectomy?

My friend is 25 but currently thinking of getting a lubal ligation. They initially just thought about having one child and then another one later on but she gave birth to quadruplets, it was a complicated pregnancy (all 4 were born premature at 32 weeks but they're healthy now) and had an emergency C-section. She was just 22 on that first pregnancy.

She's thinking of whether to have a tubal ligation or hysterectomy even though she's still young. Her husband is agreeing with it. They don't want anymore kids. If the woman is still in her good fertile years but already had a multiple pregnancy the first time... should she get lubal ligation or hysterectomy if she wants to?

During that pregnancy, her blood pressure increased and the doctor considered her pregnancy a high risk.

Personally I would go tubal ligation myself. Keep as much of the natural body as possible. People can have horrific lifelong consequences to hysterectomy (heart attack and stroke rates increase, chance of having to use diapers for the rest of your life. Lack of hormones when young suck too. Can kill sex drive. These things don’t happen to everyone, but a too many for my comfort)

It’s purely personal choice though.

Like if she is sure she doesn't want any more bio kids its like the best way to never get pregnant again

Yeah both are 100% sure they don't want anymore bio kids. Raising the quadruplets was already a challenge for them, the man had to work two jobs and even their parents (both her parents and the man's parents) helped too and still are.
