Should a woman still opt for vaginal birth if it's twins?

I know someone that had vaginal birth (and no epidural) to twin girls. Needless to say, ouch. That must've been even more painful. The woman refused C-section and still wanted it naturally. That's gotta be brave to not just birth a baby but two babies.

In your opinion do you think a woman should still go ahead with vaginal birth if it's twins or go for C-section? Personally I would find birthing two babies too much.

Woah, that sounds intense! I can't even imagine going through a natural twin delivery without any pain meds - that woman must be insanely tough! I don't know if I'd have that kind of bravery.

Personally, I think it is probably lean more towards a C-section if someone was having twins. Don't get me wrong, I totally respect the woman's choice to go the natural route, but that just sounds like a whole other level of pain and difficulty. Giving birth to one baby naturally is hard enough!

With twins, there's just so much more risk and potential complications involved. Like, the babies could be in different positions, it takes longer, and the strain on the body is so much greater. I feel like a C-section might be the safer option, especially if it's your first time having kids.

But then again, I know a lot of women really want to avoid a C-section if they can. It's major surgery, with a longer recovery time. And some just feel really strongly about going the natural route, no matter how tough it is.

I guess it's one of those decisions where there's no clear "right" answer. It probably comes down to weighing the risks, talking to your doctor, and then going with whatever option you feel most comfortable with. As long as the babies and mom end up healthy, that's the most important thing.

Still, mad props to that woman for powering through a natural twin delivery! That takes some serious guts. I'm not sure I'd have it in me, but to each their own, you know? Whatever works best for the individual mama.

I'm a guy, so my opinion absolutely does not matter, since I'm not the one giving birth.

However, I give props to women that do, because if I were in that situation, I would want to be in a coma. Screw that. Y'all are tough for squeezing out a living wrecking ball.

Yeah I can't imagine pushing out a baby but then having to push yet the twin too. Double the pain 20/10 for sure.

I would never say someone "should" do something, especially when it comes to something like birth.

The woman should talk with her doctor. I believe it would also depend on whether it's a high-risk birth or not, to what the strategy for the birth should be.
And other than that, it should be what the woman is comfortable with an what she wishes to go through.
