Is brain hemorrhage really rare?

Most people say it's as unlikely as my chance of dying in a plane crash and "you can't have this", ugh. 😣

Also if I don't get enough answers, I'll delete the question and ask again.

It's fairly common. It's a type of stroke. Strokes are one of the leading causes of death. About 1/3 of strokes are hemorrhage strokes. High blood pressure is a big risk factor.

Strokes run in my family. About half the deaths in my extended family are from strokes. Fortunately I don't have high blood pressure like most of my family.

Why are you asking? Is it just out of curiosity? If you are American and want to know more, the American Stroke Association has a free magazine that you can get. Just ask them for it. They will ask for donations, but they don't harass you about it. I got the magazine for 3-4 years. They might send it to people outside the US, but I don't know for sure.

OK. Well they are wrong. It's more common in older people and people with high blood pressure, but it can happen to anyone of any age, including babies.

If you have high blood pressure you have an extremely high chance of having a brain hemorrhage. Also known as a hemorrhagic stroke.

No there pretty common and can strike anyone, any age any time without warning. Obviously some people are more prone but I've known really fit healthy people to die.
