What is the best remedy for a bad cold (something you have tried, and it worked)?

I would not recommend what I do to anybody, since I do not really get bad colds anyway... only mild ones and they last max two days, so I just ignore them for the most part and keep going

as for that time years ago when one was really bad, I just did the usual (my usual) extra cold showers, try to sleep a lot... eat lots of chicken soup, and just sweat and wait it out in bed

and do complain a lot like a whining baby

For medicine? DayQuil and NyQuil until you nuke the cold.

Natural? Orange juice, chicken soup with lots of noodles, sleep, and lots of hot tea.

Mixing herbal tea with honey and drinking it. You do not need a lot of honey, a small portion is enough. I did this with black tea and I did this with green tea. I also tried red tea but not sure if it worked cause I wasn't actually sick at the time.

Really just easing your symptoms until it's over is all you can do. If you have a lot of congestion or coughing then jot drinks and soups are the way to go, or a hot shower. If you have headaches a cool towel on your head can help. With any sickness making sure you're hydrated is the most important thing.

Nebulization with 0.5ml of 3% food grade H202 with 4.5 ml of sterile saline. Or supplementation with high doses of vitamin C to bowel tolerance / limit.
