What sounds do your head in, and why?

Whining truck tires on the highway when I want to sleep. Depending on temperature and wind direction you can hear that from miles away.

I often get a song in my head that just repeats itself, over and over, sometimes for several hours.

The gritty sounds of people sliding their shoes on a floor. Yet I have no problem with people screeching their fingernails across a chalkboard- go figure.

Oops I almost forgot since it’s now winter - those idiots and I repeat idiots who have their bass up at 10 on the Richter scale causing sonic booms that you hear coming down the road a mile away. Thought there was a law against that junk for noise pollution or disturbing the peace?
