I think if the government can't afford to solve big problems, it should focus on preventing big problems. I remember watching a tv show where a woman who weighed over 350 pounds gave birth to a sick child and the child spent over 6 months at the hospital to get health care before being released. If she had maintained a healthy weight, her baby might have been healthy and the the 6 months of life saving medical treatment might not have been necessary. The government is at fault too. The censure information that gives accurate health care advice because health problems are good for business. Like if people knew they were eating too much meat and it was causing cancer - they would buy less meat and meat farmers would lose their business which means more unemployed people for the government to rewire their job opportunities and that might result in decades of low employment and lower tax payments while these former pig farmers find other means of income.

The only crisis I see is a lack of freedom to choose how we spend our own money and make our own health care choices.

The health care industry is unfortunately one of the most goverment run industries in the country. Run like the NAZI's ran their country via heavy handed 'regulation' micromanaging and compelling it to do as the goverment pleases.

For the last 60 years the design of some of those regulations has been to effectively prohibit price selection by the only party capable the result of which is to drive prices have been driven thou the roof as fast as companies can raise them.

What health care crisis? You mean the health care system that is probably the best in the world? Do you mean that being the best means expensive? Do you mean a health care system that costs more because it supplements all the other countries around the world? Do you mean the best medical schools in the world? Do you mean the country that does as much medical research as the rest of the world combined?

Who is supposed to implement this "solution"? The government who fucks up just about everything they touch?

Our elites want us to live in pods and eat ze bugs. I don't they'll do anything to fix health care for plebs like me anytime soon... they seem more concerned with taking my car off the road because "just go buy a $65,000 electric car... muh environment" as they fly around in private jets and eat nothing but steaks.

America claims to be the best country in the world when it can't even offer its citizens basic healthcare without having to pay an arm and a leg for it. The system is a disgrace.
