i've never pulled an all nighter for work, latest i've done was 7am and that was on a night out, but i always manage to do everything i need during the day then i'm asleep by 2/3am on average and awake at different times depending on my schedule but generally always before 12 - i don't really have any method but i've found that i drift off when i lay down anyways, like i put a film on and i'm not feeling too tired but i just fall asleep because i'm comfortable - and it obviously helps to just force yourself to wake up and fix your internal clock maybe?
i don't know, different things work for different people and their schedules
