For your doctor's visit, do you typically prefer a doctor of the same or opposite sex?

Opposite in both.

Reason is probably as simple as me having encountered it that way at first and my first interactions having been good.

My doctor, physical, is a woman and we get along excellently. Good at what she does, and yes, quite attractive. The attractive part - as irrelevant as it is to their ability to heal you, is still always going to be a bonus.

Mentally I haven't had a need for many years. When I did a woman was easier for me. In hindsight I think that us being naturally a little different aided the process of revealing things and trying to comprehend them. Whereas if the person was more alike me it would have felt more like trusting that they were better at deciphering things. Which well, teen me would not approve of. Guy would have made Narcissus blush.

Never visited a mental health doctor.

Last time I visited any was as an early teenager. I preferred men who are straight on point and get shit done without any feelings attached. Only as a tiny little child did I like female dentists to fall in love with. But if one has psychologically matured one day beyond 12 years old, they'd know better.

It really shouldn't matter, but it's stupid as the other opinion owner is visiting doctors just because they're sexually charging her. Dumb animalistic shit.
