Examples of muscles that people are unable to control include:

Cardiac muscle: This is the muscle tissue that makes up the walls of the heart. It is responsible for the heart's rhythmic contractions and works involuntarily to pump blood throughout the body.

Smooth muscle: This type of muscle is found in the walls of internal organs such as the stomach, intestines, and blood vessels. Smooth muscle is also responsible for the involuntary movements of various structures within the body, such as the peristaltic contractions of the digestive tract.

Iris muscles: These muscles control the size of the pupil in the eye, which regulates the amount of light entering the eye. They are involuntary and are controlled by the autonomic nervous system.

Ciliary muscle: This muscle is located in the eye and is responsible for controlling the shape of the lens, which helps the eye to focus on objects at varying distances. Like the iris muscles, the ciliary muscle is also under involuntary control.

In general, the involuntary muscles in the body are essential for maintaining proper physiological function, and they work together with the voluntary muscles, which we can consciously control, to help us perform a wide range of activities.

how interesting... and you just made me google it

" As it turns out, you can train your toes to move independently. There is no bio-mechanical reason why you would not be able to. The main reason people are unable to move their pinky toe independently is because they do not use the finer muscles in our foot, leading to atrophy and poor motor control. "

There are a number of muscle groups associated with peristalsis, and equally to the point, reverse peristalsis. I have very little control over most of them. I am better at controlling my own breathing than i am stopping myself from puking or shitting.

I wish I had more control of my toes. That’s more than one muscle, but…
