It is possible to gain weight in areas other than your stomach through a variety of factors such as genetics, hormonal changes, or a sedentary lifestyle. However, diet and exercise are still important factors that can affect weight gain or loss throughout the body.
When you consume more calories than your body needs, the excess calories are stored as fat, which can lead to weight gain. If you consume more calories than you burn through daily activities and exercise, the excess calories can be stored in various parts of the body, including arms, legs, hips, and buttocks.
On the other hand, regular exercise and a healthy diet can help you maintain a healthy weight and even lose weight in areas such as the stomach, hips, and thighs. Strength training exercises can help build muscle, which can increase your metabolism and help burn fat throughout the body.
It's important to remember that body weight and composition can vary greatly from person to person and can be influenced by a variety of factors, including genetics and lifestyle habits. Consult with a healthcare professional or registered dietitian for personalized advice on managing your weight and achieving a healthy body composition.
Yes and no.
Weight gain is fat accumulation
fat accumulation is toxic accumulation,
reduce toxic accumulation reduce fat,
reduce fat reduce weight.
You dont get to choose were fat is stored, you do get to choose where muscle is built.
Muscle built = more weight
muscle takes more energy to maintain
more muscle = more glucose storage space and fat expenditure
more glucose storage and fat expenditure used means more weight lost and takes longer to put fat on.
hope thst clears things up
If I store fat mostly in my hips and butt and upper thighs could I built a really nice body with some muscle?
Yes you can, you can do calisthenics and stretch, heck you can do squats at home now, do full sqats butt all the way to the ground, no bouncing, down hold rest, down, hold, that will improve your posture and your butt is poke more and tighten up that lower back n core, which is what you want
