I had allergic reactions one time around 8 years ago and a friend told me they had nurses you could call over the phone so I called for a free digital nurse and she told me to take Claritin. I read Claritin has a low success rate but I don't believe it cause a nurse would not ask me to buy something that probably will not work.

There is no cure for allergies. Your only remedy is to stay away from the things that make you allergic..

I do. More than few. I take cetrizine as soon as I experience redness, itchiness or breathlessness. I get better within few minutes

  It does work. It reduced my seasonal allergies symptoms greatly. Watery eyes and sneezing stops within half an hour.

  I take this as well. It's a prescription. My doctor has be taking it everyday to keep my Mast Cell activation syndrome under control. Hives and food cause me problems.

Benadryl can stave off a bad reaction if i don’t have an epi-pen handy. Epinephrine is otherwise necessary to keep a hornet’s sting from killing me, probably.
