it does seem like a lot. i'm not sure why you'd lose that much blood during a procedure. sounds like something went wrong

  it's possible there was some internal bleeding which could cause that but setting bones isn't that surgical.

It would depend upon the procedure. For any laparotomy it would be a low number. For a vasectomy I'd say WTF.
