Is they anyone in St. Louis area that can help a buddy get his boat onto a lake one more time? He's got some health issues and can't do it alone?

I'm the guy that this question is about.

BoopBoopBeep is a great guy who is helping me find a fishing partner.

I've had some health issues that have slowed me down, but I'm on the upswing. No one would need to worry about me having a heart attack or anything like that. At worst, I might be a bit slow in getting things done. As any real fisherperson knows, fishing takes quite a bit of work.

I have boats, a truck, and tons of fishing equipment. I mainly need help in sharing driving duty and would love to share some time on the water with a fellow fisherperson.

I don't need to be babysat. Conversely, it'd be too much for me at this time to teach someone how to fish if they don't have basic fishing skills.

Even if someone would want to go along and not fish, just so they can be on the water would be fine with me.

If there's a fisherperson out there who'd like to go, I'm itching to go, badly, I just can't drive long distances.

A day, a weekend, during the week if someone is available, whatever.

On lakes, I'm mainly a crappie fisherman, but if somebody wants to chase black bass, I'm up for that.

Or teach me something new if you like a type of fishing that I haven't gotten into. I love to learn.

Mark Twain Lake or Lake of The Ozarks would be my most probable lake destinations, although I like Clearwater Lake also.

If someone has river skills, I really love the Big River or the Meramec River to go after smallmouth bass. Those destinations would require a river-seasoned person, though.

Springtime fishing is quickly getting away from us.

I help my father launch his sailboat on Carlyle Lake. I don’t particularly care for fishing right now as it’s not a priority in my life.

I’m more concerned with finding employment right now. Unfortunately, I’m going on two years of job searching. Constant rejection saps the joy out of life. So, I wouldn’t be the best fishing/boating buddy right now.

He's got a truck and a garage full of fishing equipment... he's just not doing great physically and gets tired easily, so he can't maneuver the boat and whatnot. That's where you'd come in. You close enough to St. Charles that you'd want to go meet him? He's got some good fishing spots. I can't drive out that far (medically) and I'm on the other side of KC, otherwise I'd do it.
