When you rinse after brushing do you use a cup, or just take in water with your hand?
I don't typically rinse either way. What I do is I rinse the toothbrush, then use the rinsed brush and rinse and repeat again once or twice. This usually gets any residual toothpaste out of my mouth. I also don't use the typical amount of toothpaste, which is a huge gob that would last me about 5-6 brushings:
I used close to the amount on the left. Toothpaste actually doesn't do much, it's mostly just for flavor. You can also use pure xylitol
But yeah, if I need to rinse my mouth, I will just use my hand or bend down and suck from the stream rather than use a glass. I'm very unsophisticated.

Actually I pour the mouthwash into the lid of the mouthwash and I drink that and put the lid over my toothbrush to use for the next day but as a kid I used to cup my hands together and drink from my hands
I was told by a dentist that you don't rinse after brushing you spit only. Rinsing washes away the flouride that's supposed to sit on your teeth for a certain amount of time.
We have a glass in our main bathroom we use. I drink out of my hand if I happen to use the other bathroom though.

I have the little paper cups. I rinse my mouth exactly three times.
Cupped hands.
Quicker, easier, no cost, no mess, no wet cup sitting around to get moldy.
I use my hand to redirect the stream right into my mouth.
I keep a bottle of water next to my bed since I spend most of my time here and, before I go to bed, I'll have a drink
I picked "hands" but I use a mouthwash as well, so I start with hands, then use a glass for the mouthwash.
With hand. Tried with cup when younger, was cool but uncessary
I get water right from the faucet 😊 for that
