liquids start to absorb into the body within five minutes. The more nutrients in the liquid the longer they take to digest. A liter of soda could stress the GI track slightly due to pH changes but over an hour your body should be able to manage it. If you were to rapidly drink a liter in less than 5 minutes on a dare or whatever, you will likely projectile vomit involuntarily I've seen it happen when some retard bet me a hundred dollars he could rink a 12 pack of mountain dew in 5 minutes or less. Easy money.

That's over 38 teaspoons of sugar. Sugar, not fat, makes you fat. Plus it leads to kidney damage and diabetes for the same reason as over consumption of alcohol.

I think you should be fine if done on occasions. Not healthy but if just once no harm done once your sugar rush is gone
