Can a person drink 3/4 of a jack daniels in a cpuple hours?

Had a friend come over a while back. I honestly think he's got a drinking problem these days. I had a fairly large sized bottle of jack Daniel's and when he left the bottle was empty for the most part. I think he was just drinking straight out of the bottle not even mixing it. Honestly, I don't drink but do keep some alchohol on hand for girls and any friends that come over. Anyways, that's not normal to be able to drink that much in a 2hr time frame and still be functional unless you have a drinking problem, right?

Is this why he's been pissed off at me for totally irrational reasons? We haven't hung out in about a year now. Finally got tired of his bs, but I remembered about a year ago he drank most of that bottle and that was kind of the start of his odd behavior. I was just pissed he drank the whole bottle, but it didn't really dawn on me at the time.

Yeah your buddy is definitely an alcoholic. No normal person could drink that amount in that time.

If you're talking about the normal sized bottle which is 750 ml, that's a lot. One my friends who is a big drinker could drink a 750 ml bottle in a few hours. Any faster than that and you are talking about a serious alcoholic who is probably going to have liver failure soon.
