These pics were taken 24 hours apart. Is it normal to bloat this much, especially with the sides? It looks like I gained 5 pounds overnight sometimes. Is this water retention?

Yesss it’s totally normal! I’m a very petite small girl and i end up looking pregnant after a meal. I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that I have IBS and my stomach is sensitive to most foods. Do you have IBS? Maybe that could be a reason for the bloating
Lol I’ve never been told I have it. I have been keeping a food journal just for accountability and reflection. I was feeling pretty gassy yesterday when the second photos were taken but I didn’t really have anything out of the ordinary for me besides a margarita. For the most part I’ve been eating stir fry, fruits, cheerios and salads.
I honestly don't see too much of anything really maybe a little bit try to remember what type of food you eat when you feel that way maybe that has something to do with it maybe something with preservatives or a food that your body kind of wants to reject or something
It's like I can eat certain foods that fill me up fast but like with beef or steak or something like that it's an endless pit I could just keep eating and eating and eating it
Salt imbalance can do it. Actually "electrolyte imbalance" but that's usually in the form of salt. Recently going super high carb will do that too. I'm like that on race days if it's half marathon or longer because of all the over-carbing the night before. If it's there in a couple days it's something else assuming you're back to a normal regimen.

Try to reduce sugar (including fruits), particularly try not to eat it with other food.
Dairy is usually the other culprit.
Try and eat simple meals in general with not too many different foods.
See if it helps. But the sugar / fermentation is the thing I noticed with me.
I barely notice a difference or that you even look bloated. Some bloat is normal in people, but I'm pretty sure people's diets affect this the most. Stuff like chips, pizza, pasta, tacos, soda, and stuff make people bloat.
I don't believe you
What reason would I have for making this up
It can happen
