I have been mostly overeating in the weeks before and I'm so scared of weight gain. I ate 1400 calories today which is a lot but still better than before. I'm still scared that I will gain weight because I have no control around food

Got to keep a count of your calories. Now there is good and bad calories just like cholesterol. 1400 of calories is fine if its through several meals a day.
Plus exercise is another way to help. Muscle weight is better than fat weight. You don't have to be a bodybuilder. Just be in shape. But its a lot of work to keep tone. If you want that.

Keep your calories at the daily required level, and watch you eat, and you will just fine.
1400 cal is not a lot. That is even over than your BMR. Gaining weight is not a problem if it is mainly muscle mass. That will keep your body toned and you will not look fat at all.
