I struggle with weight gain. As an underweight guy. 21 years old and still underweight.
Have you counted your calorie intake? If you're a hard gainer I'd say eat 500 calories surplus and you'll see weight gain. You're simply burning more energy than you're putting in your body. Prioritize protein intake and make sure you get adequate amounts of fats and carbs. You can download my fitness pal app set it up and track your caloric intake by scanning your food. Do that for a month and you'll develop a decent feel for calories and a general knowledge about how much you eat. Preferably 1g of protein per lbs in bodyweight. Example if you're 160lbs you'd need 160g protein a day for optimal recovery and weight gain in muscle mass.
Thank you 💜✨ I'm quite bad at calculating and planning stuff but I'll try.
Just try the app it's so convenient I'm telling you :) scan the barcodes put in the serving size in grams or whatever metric you use and voila :)
Thank you 💜✨
i think if i tried hard enough i would be able to lose a bit of weight but i recently started getting slimmer after changing how much i ate
That's good to hear , make sure you're getting 1gram of protein per lbs of your bodyweight. bodyweight in lbs times 1 = grams of proteins required daily for optimal weight gain / loss.
That way you maintain muscle mass which makes fat loss more efficient. You might even gain some muscle on your weight cut.
oh okay
