Just set a new one for my deadlift at 250lbs.
I stopped working out at the gym after I tore all my shoulder ligaments body building. Now it's just 100 situps, pushups, chin-ups (obviously not 100), and bike riding.
Only records I'm currently setting are for how long and how high I can toss my kids up in the air and keep up with them lol

Overhead presses about 95lbs-105lbs, bicep curls 95lbs but on average between 65lbs to 75lbs, floor to chest dumbbell raises while leaning on bench about 100lbs each hand (not familiar with the name), stair climbs 150lbs two sets of two flights up and down, 1/4 to maybe 1/3 mile with 150lbs attached to my body, 345lb rack press just lifting the weight off the rack and holding it in the air most i did last year at that weight was about a millimeter high, 60lb weighted decline push-ups. it's all on my tiktok

+1 yBack in late August 2022, according to a video I have.
I did 135kg on the sumo deadlift at a bodyweight of around 50kg -- no belt, straps, chalk, creatine or pre-workout.
That session, I actually hit to PRs in one session that day, doing 130kg before doing 135kg.
After those sessions though, I've since massively sucked at it, lol.

+1 yi never do deadlifts, cause i value my back. my personal record is 500lbs bench press. speaking about one rep max. not my training weight.

that was like 6 years ago tho. i'd be surprised if i could even do 300lbs now.
- +1 y
Ah, I got you. 500 is fucking crazy, dude. Deadlift isn't something I did a lot of for that reason, but now it is a physical event that I need to do for one of my jobs as a fitness test.
- +1 y
i'd rather break the musclegroups down and benchmark myself that way. like with squats or lat pulls than risking a disk herniation every time i wanna see how much i can do. but i get it, if it's just that thing that you really like, you won't stop it. tbh 500 lbs isn't even that much for a one rep max. i just worked out for 2 years and i wasn't even all that bulky. i just happened to like that exercise a lot. i think my highest 12 rep training weight was 330lbs on bench press. tho tbh the weight doesn't even matter. what matters is that you feel the pump :D

Deadlifts make your back stronger. If you got a weak back, deadlifts will strengthen it. Just my opinion

@PragmaticProfit for that, i prefer this exercise.
![What is the last personal record you set at the gym?]()
I don't know the name of it tbh.

I dunno dude, 500lb bench is massive. Iβve had buddies that were competitive bodybuilders, high level college football players, etc and never seen anyone go much over 4 plates

@Redstang88 hmm your comment made me check the maths. i guess it's 440lbs. i just estimated what 200kg would be in lbs xD

@Redstang88 sorry for the inaccuracy
+1 yIn my martial arts club, I finally am consitently landing kicks on my teacher. That's a big milestone for me considering he's about 1.5' taller than me and faster.
I also beat my best student handily. That was great.10 Reply

@PragmaticProfit oh wow

@PragmaticProfit was it worth it? I mean, i heard steroids make everything else big but shrinks ur pp
- +1 y
@Boomchakalaca π Shrinks your testes. Testes go back to normal once youβre off. I had a lot of great times bodybuilding. Itβs pretty empowering to look like an irl super hero. It fed into my youthful self-centeredness a bit lol. Not worth the health complications unless youβre attempting to make it a career though.
2.7K opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. It's been a few years but I had around 600lb leg press which was my normal set weight and I had managed to get to around 650-700lbs for a one rep max. Which for me weighing 155lbs is fairy decent.
