May I ask why you are trying to lose water weight?

Trying to purposely dehydrate yourself will cause you a lot of problems! Your body will react and make you feel thirsty and your urine will become really dark and concentrated.
Alcohol itself will cause water to move out of cells, but the majority of urine is from the volume of alcohol itself.

Please talk to me about weight loss rather than potentially causing yourself a lot of harm!

It would if you were drinking "DIET" alcoholic drinks XD. But its not like aspartame fake sugars your just guzzling then empty sugars and calories. Just in a different form a liquid instead of food.

Alcohol is a diuretic. That said, when you drink you are consuming fluids as well. Higher proof beverages like wine and hard spirits do created a short term net diuretic effect where more urine is excreted than is consumed over a 24 hour period. Beyond that though it tappers off. That's what happens when you get a hang over. You become slightly dehydrated and developed an electrolyte imbalance.

Look up alcohol bloating. Just because you’re peeing more doesn’t mean you’re losing water weight. You’ll actually retain more. Same with caffeine. If you’re trying to lose water weight, reduce your sodium intake to 2000 mg daily. If water retention is a serious or recurring issue, see a doctor who may give you a diuretic to mobilize the fluid.
