Is labor a lot more painful & difficult for those who have narrow hips/pelvises?

Okay so I'm looking forward to having AT LEAST 3 children during my lifetime. I would prefer 4 but 3 is what I hope to be blessed with.

However, there's been something on my mind for a while now.

I am a very petite-framed girl. I have super duper narrow hips/pelvis.

I want to know, will this make labor extremely difficult for me to experience? Will I automatically be needing a c-section?

Im worried because I plan to do natural…but having a narrow pelvis might make it painful for me 😭😭

I would love to hear any experiences/thoughts about this.

It definitely is. Typically c-sections are the recommended method for people with narrow hips/pelvis. Otherwise it gets risky, not only for your own health, but for your babies health aswell.

Oh no 😭😭 I heard having a c-section takes months to heal from. Also it’s not recommended to have more than 3 c-section surgery done…so I guess the max # of kids I can have are 3. Oh and I totally forgot there’s going to be a scar as well.

C sections don't always take months to heal. T depends on tbe person and how well they take care of the area. Also Depending on where you live, some hospitals get their patients up and out of bed within hours of having a c section, because it has been proven the quicker you are up and about, the faster you will start to heal.

I found out after my epidural failed both times that my anatomy is not completely straight (whatever that means) I went on to have a natural birth but I did need to have doctors get bubs out via performing an episiotomy. Regarding pain. It really depends on your pain tolerance how bad the pain will be.

Wide hips evolved to make labor easier and make it more likely for both, mother and a child to survive.
