Ladies whats your thoughts on birth control?

Personally, I'm not going to put myself through all the hormone changes, weight gaining, moodiness, and so on just so a man can ultimately nut inside me whenever he likes.
I know some of you feel differently and it's a positive for whatever reason, but for my own body I wouldn't.

I’ve done the pill and felt mentally off on it. When I eventually ran out, I never made any effort to refill it. I got the copper IUD in February for the sheer reason of not having hormones. It does its job with no problems, and it lasts ten years. It’s very effective, as much as getting your tubes tied. I recommend it because I think it’s possible to seek options with less room for failure, as in condoms, without having to struggle. You are your hormones and the hormonal bc or IUD isn’t for everyone.

Well birth control beats having to shuttle around a crotch goblin. It's a matter of educating yourself on the options. The best for me has been a hormonal Mirena IUD.

its toxic.. it tells your brain you are pregnant all the time.. it can affect you for life, you might not notice it now but once you get off it.. you will see

I’ve tried many kinds, I don’t like any of them. I can’t use a condom though so I had to figure something out. I use contraceptive gel and track my cycle.
