They shower/bathe regularly, but for whatever reason, they just don't want to wear deodorant.
+1 yIn China, people don’t wear deodorants. Asians have the mutation that makes their sweat not scent less.
I remember laying next to my Asian boyfriend and thinking his scent was the best thing I’ve ever felt in my life.
He never had smelly sweat. He almost smelled like flowers naturally. He always worked out, always ate healthily and his scent made me fall in love with men. I loved smelling his neck and chest. His Sweat though, he never had sweaty smell. Zero scent to his sweat doesn’t matter his sweaty he was.
These days at work I have European guy, I think he sometimes forgets wearing a deodorant, unlike Asians he doesn’t have a mutation that makes his sweat scentless.
He has got very little smell of sweat. It’s very unnoticeable, but he sits next to me and I do notice it. To be honest, I find his smell attractive.
But as usual I don’t like it, I prefer men to wear a deodorant, if they are non-Asians.
However, there have been occasional instances in my life, when his smell of sweat just clicked right to my nose and I found it attractive.
When it first happened I was 14, there was a farmer’s boy at the summer village where I went for holidays, he loved me. He was 15. We were crushing on each other ever since I was 9 and he was 10. I was his first love. He had tanned skin and green eyes. One day he came from the work on the farmland, he didn’t wear a shirt and he was very athletic. His tanned skin was so smooth and the sweat made it look even smoother.
I was leaning on the wall. He came closer to me, stood in front of me, opened his hands and leaned them on the wall, kind of stuck me between his arms, then he leaned in and kissed me somewhere near my ear almost on the neck, asking me “How are my mysterious girl?”
he was so close I could smell his sweat and in all honesty, I found it very hot.
Then he said “Sorry, I am all sweaty, have to go home and take shower. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
I remember that evening vividly, that’s the first time I felt very sexually attracted to him.

Oh, also in China foreigners have got a reputation to be “stinky” ahahaha
Chinese people don’t produce smelly sweat, so they are left wondering what is that smell foreigner people have?
The weirdest compliment I’ve received from a guy was on a first date, about 6 months ago.
He was Chinese, he traveled from a faraway city to see me and when we sat by the lake to chat, he told me
“You know, I always heard foreigners were smelly, meeting you though, I realized it’s wrong, you don’t smell at all, I would even say you smell very nice.”
I found his naive honesty adorable and then I explained him why Asians think foreigners are smelly.
And that not all of us smell haha
He ended up liking me but he wasn’t my type. We could be friends but not lovers.

Correction-
Also, my ex even though was Asian, always wore a Sports Deodorant. That’s probably why he smelled so good. I am trying to remember the brand, Not sure. I need to smell to remember, all I remember is he smelled amazing.
And the flowers scent I felt was - mine, because I used a flower flavored deodorant, I still use the same brand to this day but different flower 🤣
It was like 3 years ago. When you start forgetting such things, it’s about the time to move on totally. I was thinking it’s weird that I remember him smelling like a flower and dug deep in my memory to recall what he used. I’ll write if I remember,
Guys should take notes, it had absolutely amazing scent.

+1 yI don't shower/bathe very much and I have deodorant but I don't always wear it. It's like an extra perfume for me, but I don't really need it. The way my body smells has changed over time and also with what I eat and how I live.
I think my body doesn't smell bad for a few reasons (all theories):
1. Not bathing (often): Soap//shampoo removes oil and natural smell/pheromones from our bodies. The body responds by producing more oil and smell, so bathing (at least with soap/shampoo) causes the body to overreact and smell worse and be more oily. By not bathing often, and when I do, either not using soap at all or using a minimal amount (like if I have some other substances on me, oil or food smells from cooking or work, dirt, soil, tar, &c that needs soap) helps keep my body in a natural balance. Sometimes when I work out, I don't take a proper shower, but I do rinse off with the hose (no soap) just to cool down and get the sweat/salt off. Or I go skinny dipping in a pool of the river at the bottom of my hike, for example. Or jump in the ocean and rinse off the ocean water (again, no soap) with a fresh water shower.

2. Eating healthy and staying hydrated: I drink around 100 oz or 3L-4L of water a day, and I eat a lot of dietary fiber, fresh fruit and vegetables, nuts, seeds, and legumes. I eat animal protein, but I don't make it a focus of my life to make sure it's in every meal. I consume a minimal amount of processed foods, grains, processed sugar, starch, alcohol or other drugs. I don't smoke, and I exercise regularly. I think what you put in your body can affect your smell, as well as how you feel and the features of your output such as sweat, cum, poop, and urine.

3. Getting older: When I was a teenager and my early 20s, I had more intense body odor and I think it had to do with hormones and age. I did also shower a lot more back then, 1-3 times a day so that might tie in with my theory #1 above (?). I also smoked nicotine and drank alcohol much more, which ties in with theory #2. But my younger brother lives a lot cleaner than I did, and he also smelled strongly through his early 20s.

Sorry, I didn't answer the question. I don't think whether they wear deodorant or not matters. What matters is if they smell bad or not. Even if they wore deodorant, if I didn't like their smell that wouldn't matter because they would stink in bed in the morning after sleeping all night. That, or they would have to wear deodorant to bed which I would not like.

It’s a stone in a little plastic case when you get out of the shower just run the stone under the water for a second wipe and under your arms like it’s deodorant. Get it wet again do the other arm and you’re done. I’m a big guy it’s hot outside. I’m sweating a lot working outside and after a full day I just checked I don’t smell at all. the stuff is amazing.

+1 yUnless they smell like roses without deodorant, I'd say they have to reform and use it. My grown son was doing that and he smelled like a wet dog after a long day. He finally reformed and started using it. It was the aluminum chlorhydrate issue, which has been debunked. It doesn't cause cancer or alzheimer's. He needs to use antiperspirant too. He sweats like me and my dad: a lot. We are drippers!!! But.. another story another time.
Some people think funk and musk is sexy. Not one of them... It's just stinky to me!
22 Reply- +1 y
Anti-perspirant is bs. You're supposed to perspire when it's hot. That's what keeps you from dying.
- +1 y
@AngryCarl2 Anti-perspirant RETARDS sweating. Nothing absolutely stops sweating. However, the goal is to slow it down so bacteria buildup doesn't lead to stench, which is what happens with no deodorant/anti-perspirant.
I work in a non-airconditioned warehouse where the summer temps were upwards of 105 WITH every kind of fan blowing around. I perspired everywhere, including my underarms. But simply a bit less in that ONE AREA. The rest of my body sweated like a pig!
The only way you would DIE using antiperspirant is if you applied it to your entire body and stopped perspiring entirely. It is no threat to your life to lessen sweat in a 20 sq inch area of each underarm.

+1 yI picked the first opinion, but I then realized it's only because I live in the north right now... It's not very hot at all here. When I lived in Los Angeles or in San Diego... deodorant was a necessity. L. A. was the worst... I was taking like 6 showers a day just to not die from the heat. I'd literally make cold baths and just sit in the water.
It was so bad that deodorant made it's use to my balls and between my butt cheeks.

Thanks for, er, sharing that tidbit of info. 😮🤔😅😂🤣
I don’t put on deodorant after shower at night when I’m going to bed. I work out, I get sweaty, no smell. Then I shower and then only I put on an anti-perspirant or deodorant depending on the weather. I use anti-perspirant for those humid days so I don’t sweat 😅 like crazy on my underarms coz I like to wear sleeveless on days like this. And I don’t wanna smell! No no. And deodorant on nice cool days and I use the No stain, baby powder fresh scent. Light but fresh and not overpowering. And I hate deodorant stains on clothes!

+1 yOh that's a dealbreaker right there- sorry. I'm down here in the South where it's hot and humid. I don't care how "clean and fresh" you are- if you don't wear deodorant, everyone is going to know it... or smell it rather, lol.
No thanks. Unless he had his apocrine glands removed, that seems unfeasible.50 Reply
+1 yNeither of us wear deodorant, we found that staying hydrated and bathing regularly and eating less processed foods dramatically lowered any odors whatsoever.
I think a lot has to do with your bodies pH. Everyone is made up a little bit different.

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yIt depends if they stink or not lol. So I suppose if they don’t have body odor I won’t mind if they don’t wear it. Personally, Deodorants used to really irritate my under arms. Fortunately I found a solution and I don’t sweat under my arms (unless I do extreme working out) and I don’t have any odor! So I’m one of those who falls into the “wearing no deodorant” group lol.
10 Reply652 opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. Some people don't smell much when they sweat, I don't mind that. If she does smell, I'll tell her she forgot to put on deodorant. My friend's wife and her 2 big fat sisters really worked up a sweat on the dance floor when we went to see another friend's band play a show. They all smelled bad, but I had to move like 6 feet away from the big sister because she smelt terrible. None of them believe in wearing deodorant, which would be fine if they didn't smell like 250 pound sacks of onions.
10 Reply1.6K opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. Only if they have that abcc11 gene that allows their armpits to not produce a foul odor. If not, then nah you gotta put on something. Don't care what it is so long as it prevents foul odor.

It's so bad i have to open up a window and/or hold my breath until the smell is gone or I'm able to leave and get away from the stench of their nasty perfume or cologne
