Ladies what do you think of guys who like to show off their muscles? Guys why is it douchey thing to do so?

I see guys I know posting pics of themselves on Facebook in front of a mirror with no shirt on. Most guys give them grief and some girls do too. I've just always wondered why its such a douchey thing. All my friends wear tank tops to school or around town, but when I wear one its like all hell breaks loose and I get nasty stares and people give me sh*t for it and so I don't wear anything revealing at school. Like most of the time I wear loose fitting shirts now. I mean its perfectly OK for me to walk on the beach with no shirt, but anywhere else and I get sh*t for it while most of my friends can do whatever they want. I know a lot of douche bags grease up their muscles and sh*t and their total meatheads like some of the f***wads on jersey shore. But why is it so bad for a muscular guy to walk around showing his muscles off?

Idk, I just feel like it's kinda superficial or self absorbing. I don't know really, I mean...I just like seeing men in shirts. I like to hug men in shirts but I wouldn't be so close to a man with a tank top. I think muscles are intimidating. I rather he not even wear a shirt in the beach. I just don't like those shirts.

I will say, though, that guys like that are either really scrawny or really bulky - both body types I really dislike.

Obviously, we like muscles. And if he's swimming or it's hot then it's not really a big deal. It's when he obviously trying to bring attention to himself that when it looks a bit vain, I mean common who actually greases their muscles?

It's douchey because what else can someone say about a ripped guy showing off what he's clearly worked hard to achieve? F***all but nice things. Calling someone showing off their body douchey is like calling a professional sports person douchey for competing in their speciality.

Alot of those guys are not physically impressive first off. Second, it's like your desperate for attention so you show off. I'm kind of conflicted on this because if you have a nice body and worked hard to get it I kinda think you have a right to show it off.

I find it sleezy when other guys do that stuff. It just shows their need to be vain. It's rather narcisitic. I know that I'm damn proud of my body and my muscles because I worked my ass off for them, but the difference is noticable. It's clear that I'm fit, no need to take a picture unless I'm sending it to a lady upon her request

I'll admit I was one of those people that thought tank tops look douchey... until I put one on and walked around. It's almost like walking around shirtless and I already hate clothes as much as it is... They are so comfortable in the summer. F***the haters is what I say. Do you.
