Should I just get equipment for my house?

I get anxiety in the gym. It used to not be so bad back in the past, but these days I'm just walking on the treadmill. I tried lifting earlier but there was too many people. I can't look *anywhere* because there's women that I don't want to make feel uncomfortable, and I can't hide anywhere because there's (mainly) men on every single inch of the gym.

This is a recurring issue and I've lost a lot of gains and would much rather go home and be lazy at this rate. Getting a gym partner would help but I don't really have anyone like that in my life.

I'll be honest, the gym isn't meant for introverts. Not even the "safe" gyms, like Planet Fitness or whatever. It happens in those too. Am I just not allowed to work on my body as long as my mind is in a shitty headspace? Should I buy some weights and just walk on the streets for exercise?
