Should I put camera’s in my living room?

There is a strange family member that comes over and stays at my house on weekends occasionally. She does not talk to me and she stares at me. And when she does talk it’s about creepy things. She’s wearing all black and it’s bizarre. Would it be too intrusive to put cameras in my kitchen and living room?
