I had red lobster to celebrate my dads birthday this Saturday and gained around 5 pounds in one day, now it’s Tuesday morning and I’ve lost 3 of the 4 pounds I gained, but losing the weight has been hard cause it led to both dehydration and stunted sleeping due to the biological pressures of trying to burn off my meal. But it might also be because I doubled or quadrupled my weight loss supplements to burn the weight off faster. I also had red lobster twice cause there was enough left over food for a second meal the next day.

regarding fat vs carbs. first eating a meal will increase your weight by the amount consumed. be aware of that. so weighing yourself right after eating will increase your weight compared to before eating a meal. if you eat 2 kilos you gain 2 kilos.
also intake of fluids will increase your weight as well.
carbs are generally a lot faster to digest but will also build body fat easier. eating sugars or white bread has a tendency to make white fat, which is generally bad, specially in excess amount.
burning fat directly is a much tougher process, and the body will tend to avoid this all together if you do eat carbs.
Food in general takes around 3 days to get through the system and reserves tend to be burned off after 5 days, so if you want to burn fat you need to fast for quite a while before it becomes a valid consideration.
