What could cause your period to randomly come a week early?

My period came early. I was only on Day 24 of my cycle. Usually, my period comes between day 30 and 32. I've never had it earlier than Day 28. Never. I was really shocked to see some brown spotting starting up this afternoon. Why would my period come almost a week early when it has never done that before?

I don't use female/hormonal birth control. I use condoms for pregnancy prevention. I have never had an early period like this.

Should I be concerned about pregnancy or other health issues?

I had that happen when I was 14. Had a period happen again like a week after it finished. My Dad and Mom took me to urgent care where they got a sample, and basically told me my hormones were acting crazy. I didn't have anything that would cause a huge concern.

You could go to the Doctor to find out, better safe than sorry.

It's a lot more normal for teens because your still regulating. I'm a grown adult. That's why I was wondering.

Have you been stressed? Weight loss Or weight gain? Any changes in sexual activity? And are you sure it’s not just spotting?

Changes in your period are a measurement of your health! Has your diet/water consumption changed? Are you sick? Do have added stress, financial, emotional, etc?

I've lacked on typical water intake for awhile sadly and my period never came early until now. Not sick. Quite healthy thankfully. Had my usual checkup/blood work earlier this year and got a very clean bill of health.
