Why is the depo shot making me take panic attacks and sezuires any women had the depo Jag tell me the experience you had on it and give me some info?

I have epilepsy I never usually get a signal am about to take one I just fall somewhere I had the coil it has been lost in my pelvis but they think it's moved somewhere else inside me so I have to get it removed soon once I get the belly scan abdomal and because It got lost I went to sandyford and they gave me a depo Jag In the bum on 25th of August I was on my period at the time and I took a sezuire and then after the Jag I was in my period for to months it went away through all this I was doing good with weight I nearly lost 3stone it's made me put on about 1 with the appetite it gives me Its also making me take panic attacks and go into sezuires I have have had about 4in three months I had a panic attack tonight but my I called my sister who helped me relax and obv there is nothing I can do now until it goes away the Jag fades out my system but I fucking hate it a can't get implant in my arm again because they have now found out people with epilepsy can't take it because the limotrigane for epilepsy stops it from working so I want another coil that will stay in place better with longer strings to there's nothing else I can get implant worked amazing for me but then I get told that any women out there can you explain your experience with depo Jag if uve had it and give me some info please?

I stopped taking depo and stuck with the pills instead bcs the shot made me super anxious and depressed. My boyfriend said I became a different person. It basically messed up my hormones, I even stopped getting my periods. The estrogen from the pill is in a much smaller dose and is released into the body gradually (daily) so it kept my hormones relatively more stable and I wasn’t feeling as depressed/anxious anymore. I don't know about the seizures tho… you should ask your gyno about that

SSE what you said there in your text that's maybe what was happening to me its probably because it's been messing with my hormones because it made me take my periods to long at first and I took about 4epileptic fits I was born with epilepsy but I only ever usual take one every month on my period but because this made me stay on my period for about a month a took 4 sezuires in 3 weeks the effect of the Jag was making me wake up through the night taking panic attacks and they where knocking me into sezuires because the panic attacks where making me feel scared and feel like there where people watching me ghosts or spirits so maybe because it kept me on my period for so long I was taking a lot now they have stopped but I just don't like the appetite it's making me get and a lost nearly 3stone a keep putting on a few pounds lossing it and putting it on a just wanna continue loosing but this thing is making me wolf to much I hate it am not getting it again coil for me next time but a better one I need to wait till depo leaves my system but yeah it made me panic and put me into a epileptic fits

Yes! I had a phase where my period also lasted a month long but then I completely stopped having any periods after that. I was only on the depo shot for 9 months but it messed up my hormones so bad… like you I had waves of anxiety, depression and panic attacks. I think you really need to talk to your doctor about this, maybe the anxiety from the wacky hormones is triggering your epilepsy as well? I would discuss other options with your doctor asap

Yeah a was thinking that deffinetly talk to the doctor I only have this until 25th of November next month I dot mine on 25th of August 2023 so mines is only last 3 month but it feels horrible doesn't it

Yep I got my shot 3x (every 3 months) and it was horrible… It took me about 3-6 months for my hormones to get stable again. I feel like I need to give you a heads up tho, once you stop taking depo then you might experience some side effects like heavy cramping, acne, depression etc for a while… but I hope you wouldn’t experience any of these side effects at all 🤞🏻

Yeah I have been told this will happen am no to happy about it a feel when I read it online that when the side affects happen a know for a fact am Goninh to become a angry bitch Nd get annoyed because a worked so hard to get my acne away and it's gone now this shits gonny cause it all am Gonny freak am dreading it I didn't even get told about the symptoms when I got the Jag all I got told was it mite make your periods stop altogether that was it I had to look everything else up online but never again for me nope I have had depression anxiety from i was young but am just going to get another coil

Don’t worry girl I’m with ya, I also cleared up my acne but stopping depo made them come back… my acne’s almost gone now tho so I’m sure you’ll get through it!

See because my body and sin are really sensitive a can only use sanex zero to wash not fragrances ones my body is really sensitive a get symptoms really quick av had all the symptoms of being pregnant but I wasn't av had all the symptoms of having perimenopause but I didn't have it even though I was told I have it my body parts are very delicate that why I hate the side affects from things they go to me to much I don't even take tablets that have side affects I don't like not everyone gets side affects but I do from everything iam very delicate and sensitive my body and skin and thank you Hun I appreciate your support a will support you through things to cheers doll xx
