I had U T. I last month and doctor prescribed me medicine cuz they detected it. Now I feel the same pain under my abdomen the same spot where my U T. I pain was before. I have no idea if its U t. i. I will go to doctor tomorrow.

Okay I went to doctor today and no traces of U T I she prescribed me antibiotics for 3 days and she said if pain continues I should come back for xray of lower abdomen.

What kind if ignorant doctor would prescribe antibiotics when there is no infection? That's not good news for sure. You can't mess around with antibiotics! For one thing they are prescribed for 7-10 days in a bottle. And the instructions say you must finish the bottle.
Antibiotics mess with your gut. They cause bad bacteria too.
Personally I cannot take them anymore because they make me too sick. My whole bot is affected and I have to stop an antibiotic if I end up way too sick from it. I am older now and that is a real strong medicine for me.

Thanks for the info. I was told long term use of antibiotics could cause kidney failure. Any medicine the side effects could be kidney failure.

That's why I said 7-10 days, which is not long term.
What else can cause kidney infection is not treating a UTI because if the infection is in you for too long, eventually it will go to your kidneys.

Yes you totally can. I had recurring UTI a couple of years ago (like three-four times within a year, it was hell). I finished each round of medication but it still came back, went to a urologist and was told that I have a very short urethra and the amount of sex I was having was irritating my urethra lol I had just started dating my current boyfriend at the time and we were pretty wild

It could be, there’s no way of knowing for sure unless you get it tested. I mean you could get a OTC testing kit and test for it yourself at home or just go get it checked up at the doctor’s.
