For some reason, maybe location, it doesn't happen, anymore but, when I was still in MY house a few years ago, after I get a shower, I'd go up to my room, sit on my bed for a while, sometimes with a fan on beside me to help me dry off, again (I'd dry off completely after the shower but, by the time I got upstairs, I was wet again.) and, I'd just sit there for about 15 or 20 minutes with my head just hanging in front of me, facing the floor. When I decided to start getting dressed, I'd lift my head up and look across the room for a moment and, slowly, the room would start jumping up and down in front of me! After about 2 minutes, it'd gradually jump lower and lower until it stopped jumping completely. This happened almost every time I got a shower. No drugs or booze were ever involved. I've only taken them twice (a nembutal back in Dec. `81 and a couple hits of grass (2 in Dec. `92, and one more hit Dec. `93).) Otherwise, I rarely ever take aspirin and never drink!
It actually looks more like a movie that's out of frame and the frame keeps falling down and quickly, it's back to the top and slowly falls down again.

It happened again last night. Ever since my boyfriend died, I am having bad dreamers and I find myself screaming for my Mom like I was a little girl again. But she died in 2007. I don't have any family I can call on for help and I think it is scaring me. I have a male friend who is like a brother to me, but to be honest, he doesn't know anything about anything. He is very stoic and helps pick food up but he's old now. Sheet, I take care of him instead of the other way around. We've been like brother and sister since 1998. He has taken care of my son at one period in his life, but all he did was yell so fricken loud at him everyday because my son is developmental disabilities. He tries to tell at me and I tell him to go home.

Corrections
Not dreamer but dreams
And another correction not tell, but yell
He doesn't sound like any kind of a help, to me!
Not good for the kid, either!
Y'know, my mattress was about 2" over the edge of my bed today, too. Probably just me, though.
I don't have any family, either. Until 3 months ago, at least I had a couple cousins. Now, those two bitches have turned on me! I have a few other cousins that SAY they'll help but, when I contact them, I get nothing! One other cousin tries to help and, in fact, she just sent me a message on FB 2:00 ago but, she's at least a 4 hour drive from here. I'll get to her message when I'm done with yours.
In a way, your situation sounds a bit like my surrogate little sister's! She's living with a guy that she's not in love with and all he does is yell at her son. Apparently, he's finally stopped doing that a couple months ago. She WANTS to move out of there and be on her own but, she's waiting `til the kids graduate high school, if she can tolerate him that long. Josh turns 18 in Feb. and Jamie turns 17 the same month. Maybe the same day, for all I know. Although Kelly & I are best friends, she hasn't seen me in maybe 4 years and mostly only e-mails in response to mine. She's only 4 miles away but is ALWAYS too busy with the kids and two jobs to come see me or call. I don't complain but, it WOULD be nice to have a friend that actually spends time with you. I don't have anyone like that! Except for the daily very short visits from the bunnies and very rare visits from the deer, I've had no one since my aunt died 3 years ago. My ex-neighbor comes up once or twice a month to take me shopping but, that's it.
If you want, you can chat or e-mail me.
I don't suppose much of this was of any help. Sorry. As for the bed, it sounds like you might be thrashing around too much in your sleep and that's making the bed move. I think that's what happened to me, last night but, I haven't had a bad dream in years! A lot of mine seem to revolve around the print shop where I used to work, for some reason! I haven't been there since 2013!!
I've had it where the room felt like it was going in circles. I found out that I have a pinched nerve in my neck. When I put my head down or all the way back, it pinches and cuts off circulation. It also gives me debilitating migraines
I've never had headaches from it, just the room acting silly for a few minutes.
It doesn't hurt to get checked out. They recommend surgery for me but I'm not having it done.
Well, as I've said, it was at least 4 or 5 years ago and hasn't happened since so, I'm not worried about and, besides, they just ran a battery of tests on me a month ago.
If something was wrong, I'm sure they would have said something to you
Sucks getting old doesn't it
So far, they've said my glucose is pretty high, they don't know what's causing my edema and I, supposedly have anti-bodies that are attacking the things they're supposed to be protecting. They also suspect I might have cancer but, after they told me that 5 months ago, I started taking a cure so, I'm not really worried about it.
Well, it's not exactly getting old, it's just having all this shit to deal with. I suspect the edema came from all the standing I had to do at work when I was working in the print shop for 13 years. The cancer, if I actually have it, is coming from the massive amounts of stress I've been under for the past 7 years. It was a HUGE factor in both of my parents getting it, too! No idea what's making the anti-bodies turn traitorous on me. Otherwise, if my band could be put back together right now, I'd be ready to jump back behind the drums in a heartbeat! My only hold-back would be that I'd have to get used to being that active again after so many years of just sitting around doing nothing.

Curious. What do you do for your migraines? Pinched nerve may be your trimeninugal. It has to do with migraines and cluster headaches. How did it get pinched. Do you remember?

I haven't had what you have, but for some reason I keep thinking my bed mattress moves around in the night. I even fell off the bed because it's like being dizzy in bed. My then boyfriend fell of the bed soon after I did.
I still get this and it scares me. So I make sure I am smack in the middle of the bed and my pillows are too. Weirdest family. Plus once I get in bed I feel like I don't belong in this apartment. Like it's someone else's.
This feeling started when I didn't get my pain medication for almost 5 days and went through insane withdrawals. My brain has been like this ever since then. It was 4th of July a few months ago.
@sage2021 as soon as I feel a headache coming on I take 4 excedrine migraine. It is hereditary. My mom had it, my brother had it, I have it and both my kids have it
@sage2021 Maybe you got ghosts. I've seen a video where a guy was sound asleep when, SOMETHING lifted him up by his feet to the point where he was practically on his head in bed!
@Sparkie460
Do each one of the migraine sufferers in your family have a pinched nerve? That sounds kind of odd.
In my small family my son and my nephew as well as myself have been plagued by migraines.
My son only gets them when he gets too hot so we have to make sure he stays cool. Even at night. The worse thing was when school would start and the school got the rooms too hot. He would not only get migraines but he would vomit. Poor guy.
I stopped getting them when we moved out of the apartment where they cut off the ventilation that is supposed to take fumes from the gas stove and have them go outside.
Then I got cluster headaches instead which are worse than migraines.
My poor nephew is 51 now, and he is still plagued with them. They buy him a big bottle of Excedrin migraine pills and he drinks coffee each time. At least I still hope they are giving him the Excedrin migraine.
I was taking Imetrex (spelled wrong) prescription but they only gave 9 pills per month.
I ended up getting 800 mg prescription Ibuprofen pills and that helps. I take just one.
Well, sorry to hear about this darn migraine problem you have. Life is ok once the pills take it away.
The best to you.
I'm not sure if everyone has a pinched nerve, I'm the only one that got it checked out.
If we don't take excedrine it will make us all throw up when we have the migraines. Light and sound bothers me when I get migraines.
@Sparkie460
Yep, when you are a person or members of a family plagued with migraines it's a he Standard Operating Procedure each time.
Lay down in a cool, dark room, cold washcloth over your eyes, pump yourself up with Excedrin migraine pills. Hopefully you'll just fall asleep and wake up without the headache.
You are probably not interested, but I thought I'd mention it.
For people that get a lot of migraines each month, they have Botox injections to prevent the migraines from happening. So, it's just a thought 🙂
That's exactly what I do, minus the washcloth. usually After about 20-30 minutes I'm good to go , sometimes it takes longer if I wait too long to take the excedrine
That sounds like vertigo. I’ve had it bad from concussions and head injuries… there are physical therapy activities to help it go away if it gets bad. Also there are drugs.
It’s usually related to your ears.
