I can't take Xanax, but I do good on the sister drug called Klonopin.

I've taken Klonopin before for only a few days and it helped get rid of a bad migraine I had. It also helped with some neurological problem in my head that caused me to vomit if I wasn't laying down. After 3 weeks I was sent to a good neurologist that gave me Klonopin and the next day or so I was fine again.

I would want to save Klonopin for when I needed it but not to take everyday.
When my doctor and I were choosing an antianxiety pill for me to take everyday, the choices were Ativan (Lorazepam) or Klonopin. I chose the Lorazepam and she said that is what most people choose.

@sage2021 Thanks, for your message, yes I do think Ativan is less addicting then Klonopin, I was on Ativan in the past with no problems.
