Can you o. d on xanax alone or does it need to be mixed with opioids or alcohol?

Benzodiazepine and Alprazolam (Xanax) belongs in this group should be NEVER taken together with alcohol. This is one of few combinations that will end very likely deadly.

My understanding is it has to be mixed with something else. The stories you read are usually combined with many other things, but hardly any doctor will give it to you anymore even by itself.
