I’m pregnant ! is it safe? I ate ground beef on the date it says “use by”?

I was cooking hamburgers and I noticed the date said use by November 1. Today is November 1st and I ate the meat. It was still pink and didn’t smell bad at all. It cooked very normally. Anyone ever did this before? Especially if you’re pregnant id like to know how it went for you.

I'm sure it's ok. If it was bad, it would have looked a little green and with your pregnant nose sensitive to smell, you would have smelled something bad.
They have different dates on things so you have to watch for that.

There's the sell by date which I think it means it's ok for a couple of days

There's the best if used by date which could go a day or two

Then the expiration date which is usually on milk cartons.

I don't know you, but I am a Mom and Mom's share Mom stuff with each other.

There is a huge lawsuit going on because pregnant women were taking Tylenol while pregnant and their baby came out with autism. So, even if your doctor says it's okay to take it - please
don't. Afterall, what would the doctor say if you followed their advice and autism happened? I'm sorry. I don't trust doctors!

Another thing is don't eat black licorice. When I was pregnant I craved imported creamy black licorice candies and I ate kind of a lot of them.
I didn't know they were bad for my baby. Google black licorice during pregnancy if you want info.

Anyway, I ate the black licorice and took Tylenol for my headaches I got a lot of. The doctor said only take Tylenol. And yes, 45 years later I finally connected all if this together and realized this is why my poor little boy has learning disabilities and has never led any kind of normal life.

Yes. Most things are good past the expiration date. If it'd been bad you'd have tasted or smelled it.
