Absolutely. Some are very dark, some are quite sweet. The dark ones generally involve wondering if running over people would sound the same as portrayed in movies. Sometimes when I see people I don't like I think "man I could just invite them over kill them remove their teeth and fingers boil them in acid and then dispose of the body and no one would know" less dark but more dumb I see boiling oil when making home fries and think "I bet that isn't that hot" when I see a really cute puppy I just want to put its whole head in my mouth. Thing I have learned is most of your intrusive thoughts are related to the emotion you are feeling immediately during or before the thought appears so a bit of emotional self control and the intrusive thoughts don't pop up much
"Suffer" is a bit of a strong word. So is "Severe". Having constant bizarre curiosity over whether there is treasure in public bins or what toilet water tastes like isn't really something I'd call suffering nor severe. It is just a weird nuisance.
Now, I gotta be honest, sugar – I don't even know what intrusive thoughts is.
So, if you're lookin' for some deep, philosophical insight, you've come to the wrong place, boo.
But if you want some big booty action at Walmart, come on by the meat department, and you'll find me looking for good deals on organic chicken liver.
Looks like you want can't be reported with how harassing you guys are that's fine with me cuz that's all I'm going to keep doing as referring to the fat bitch
@Hаwk_Tuаh Hahahahahahahahahaha
Yess especially after having my babies. My thoughts get really really bad thinking about terrible things happening to them. Apparently this is normal for moms cause it's the brains way of trying to plan ways to keep them safe

The only intrusive thoughts I ever have is if I am on a ledge up high, I get this feeling like I'm going to make myself fall, even though I don't want to.
Clinging to handrails.
I jumped the handrails in Flagstaff and dangled my feet in the Grand Canyon. So did my sister. Young and dumb.
@love_conquers_lust ugh! That makes me cringe just thinking about it.
@love_conquers_lust I was on the Niagara cable car. They make you move and I froze.
I think that's quite a common one.
@A_Bell I don’t know if you realize how cute that sounds given your height and that you played volleyball. I’m picturing this:

It’s no wonder you’re wifed up with kids.
@love_conquers_lust well, I'm not a big fan of snakes either. 🤔
@A_Bell. I don’t mind benign ones. I don’t like pit vipers like what we have in Missouri. I encountered a copperhead recently this past summer and failed to kill it. We have those, Moccasins, and 3 types of rattlers. Moccasins, are ASSSHOLES. They’re very venomous and very aggressive/territorial in water. Those bastards will float and hold their heads a few inches above water and swim at right at their target if they feel threatened. Hate those things. Another reason not to swim in river or creek waters anywhere downstream the Mississippi River.
do you agree with the image you posted? do the intrusive thoughts feel as though they come from a dark entity? you may have something that has attached itself to you.
I feel like a dark enitity has attached itself to me, but actually the dark entity is me.
Yes I have intrusive thoughts all the time but they are minor thoughts, nothing I can't control and not only that there's no urges to do it, my brain just comes up with shit
I thought the only ones who admit having intrusive thoughts need help the other ones just live a lie
Don't we all? I think I kinda normalized it for myself
I did like a few years ago, but it wasn’t like super bad it was just like light things.
All the time. I always thought someone doesn't like me like something bad will happen.
Rarely
Not generally but somtimes
ALL THE TIME
